En Kongelig Affære

I cannot get over A Royal Affair (En Kongelig Affære). It was so freakin’ good! It’s in Danish and I usually have to be in a particular mood for foreign language films, but this movie totally grabbed my attention and now I’m just like… Ahhhh! It was wonderful. Highly recommend it.

Got into UCSB!

Still waiting on UCLA and UCB even though I know I’m going to UCSC. And in other news, I am slowly recovering from this cold. Hope to be better before checking out my house on Sunday!

So stressed.

I have so much work to do, and after being accepted to transfer I’m looking for housing and trying to figure out a budget with a job I don’t even have yet. On top of that, my favorite class and major, Italian studies, is going horribly wrong.
I almost cried in the middle of class today because I just don’t know if I love it anymore. It used to make me so happy and eager to learn but now I dread conjugations and translations. I used to speak Italian with confidence and now I don’t like to speak in it because my professor always finds something to correct. It makes me feel so stupid and it seems like I’m just getting worse at all of it. I hate feeling this way and I miss the love that I still have, just buried deep now, of Italian and I want to bring it back…
