Santa Cruz was amazing. The weather was warm, water was cold, and I always love the people. Friday, I took my mom and her friend to the Crow’s Nest, where they got sufficiently drunk, since I was automatic DD. And then I took them home, where they napped for an hour or two before we went out to the Boardwalk, watched the Tubes play for free, and then walked to the Wharf for ice cream at Marini’s. 

Saturday, we went to the Wharf again for lunch, which was amazing. The cute waiter I get every time we go there was there, which made my day. After that, we walked down to the beach and I went in the water, which was so fun. After that, we hung out at home for a bit before getting Mexican Food and watching a movie. 

This morning we had to leave, which was so sad, but I’ll be back for a whole week in August! So stoked. (:
